Half Day Fly Fishing Remote

On a boat access remote fly fishing trip, you will have opportunity to fish remote areas that are only accessible by boat.  A custom-built aluminum boat is your mode transport to the fishing location ensuring easy access to the shoreline and a fast comfortable ride.  Depending on where your guide decides is best to fish that day you will have approximately 4 hours to fish on this 5-hour excursion.  Your guide will take you to a location within 1 hour travel by boat from Sitka. Your guide will select the location with the best fishing for species that are in season.   These excursions target Salmon, Trout, and Char, and some saltwater species like Greenling and Skulpin depending on what is running in season.  Wading and fishing gear and trail mix and water are provided. This excursion requires each person attending to have a valid Alaska Sport Fishing License. licenses are available online and should be purchased in advance to save time on your trip. A 1-day non-resident license is $15 no additional stamps are needed for this excursion. These recreational fishing trips are strictly catch and release.  These trips are a great way to experience fly fishing in remote Southeast Alaska.
